More often than not, our tasting notes will bypass the technical details of a wine and concentrate on its character and maybe that of the winemaker, but this wine is such a crazy concoction, that it needs headlining. It’s an orange wine made from 68% Vermentino, 29% Macabeu, 2% Sauvignon Blanc, and 1% Malvoisie du Roussillon fermented on the skins with wild yeasts for 15 days and is a blend of the following vintages: 2017 (16%), 2016 (30%), 2015 (16%), 2014 (22%), 2013 (7%) and 2009 (9 %).

And, in case it’s of interest, it’s also extremely delicious and tastes of apricots fuzz and orange peel and bergamot and wet pebbles. Imagine a theoretical cross between Chateau Musar’s white wine combined with a Georgian amber wine. 13.5% alc. Only 4,500 bottles produced.
