Strangely dark for a Pinot Noir, but apparently these are rare clones. I wouldn't suggest buying this wine if you want the 'Pinot Noir' experience, because it's several moons away from that, but as a fascinating wine to enjoy in isolation,  it's an extraordinary experience. Dramatically intense as well as nervy and jittery, it's incredibly vibrant and tangy, like apricot juice blended with blackcurrant. It tastes nourishing and natural. 50% whole bunch fermentation adds to the sappy, pithy freshness. It's certainly fruity! Fascinating stuff. 12.5% alc. Drink now-2030?
