‘Neverland’ Cabernet Sauvignon, Field Recordings, Santa Barbara 2015

from 27.95

As with the Wonderwall Pinot Noir, this is a wine from top quality fruit, but offered at a remarkably good price compared to its peers. Plush and rich, with lots of substance, but the sensation is of silk not heavy tweed. It has lift and glide. Aromas of chocolate, mint, vanilla and cassis that feel as if they have been best friends since birth, harmonising beautifully on the palate to leaving impressions of blueberry, violets and tobacco leaf on the finish. This could be a ‘waiting list’ Napa Cabernet that sells for $100 a bottle, but it isn’t, it’s simply the best value Californian Cabernet on the market.

Customer Comments:

”We have just demolished 2 bottles of the Neverland cab sauv from field soundings and it blew us away, full bodied but sooo smooth.” - Mr. C. M.
