54.00

An absolutely stunning Bordeaux blend! Dark and serious, leafy Cabernet Sauvignon aromas carry through to a beautifully concentrated palate, rich in thick-skinned black and purple fruits, with fine-grained tannins that are coated in cassis. It’s like being dragged through a hedgerow by your ankles, emerging from the other side covered in wet leaves, blackberry juice and minor lacerations. 13.5% alc. Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), Merlot (15%), Malbec (10%) and Petit Verdot (5%). Matured for 20 months in new French oak barrels. 13.5% alc. Drink now-2032.

Press review:

Jancis Robinson: “Deep black cherry colour. Minty cassis and lifted fruit. Chewy and satisfying on the palate, moreish and fresh even with so much sweet fruit. Complex with some secondary forest-floor notes but still mostly fruit and much more to come. (JH). 13.5% alc. Drink now-2028.” 17.5 points
