Pale salmon pink. Elegant nose of raspberry, tomato leaf and strawberry salad (those are separate impressions not a recipe). Silky, and composed and blissfully devoid of ‘pear drop’ aromas, it’s perky and incisive, with a twist of cranberry and redcurrant to give it the bite that you would expect from a Rosé de Loire. 80% Cabernet Franc, 20% Grolleau from 25+ year old vines. 12.5% alc. Drink now-2021.

Press review:

Vinous: “Light, bright pink. Racy and focused on the nose, displaying mineral-accented red berry, orange zest and floral scents and a subtle herbal undertone. Dry and nervy in style, offering juicy redcurrant and bitter cherry flavors that deepen and become sweeter with air. Clings with impressive authority on the finish leaving candied rose and chalky mineral notes behind.” 91 points
