Don't think of this as a typical Gewurztraminer, because it's much tighter and linear than that. In fact, it smells and tastes exactly like those lemon sorbets that come inside the skin of the lemon. Allied with a hint of white lily and grapefruit, this is one of the most thirst-quenching wines on our list and one wouldn't normally expect a Gewurztraminer to hold that honour. Drink it ice cold. 12% alc, Drink now-2018.

Press reviews:

The Wine Companion:
“Well made, but takes its time to gather pace; the expected lychee and rose petal aromas are apparent on the bouquet, but it's on the palate that the gewurztraminer signature becomes more obvious, with spice, nougat and lychee accelerating through to the lively and long finish. 167 dozen made.” 93 points and 'Special Value'
