The BLST was a revolting sandwich that was widely disliked, until someone had the clever idea to take the seagull out and, hey presto, the BLT was born! Getting the ingredients right is critical when combining flavours to achieve the best effect and this sensational blend is a prime example of the skill of the master blender. It's made from Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat and, hello, what's this, an unexpected item in the bagging area, Verdil, a rare variety grown exclusively in Valencia. The Sauvignon Blanc is aged for 4 months in oak, which brings a hint of cedar and hazelnut to the trademark citrus flavours, while the Muscat mollifies things with its juiciness and the Verdil adds grace notes of grapefruit pith, lemongrass and lemon verbena. Put together it's a scintillating and sophisticated wine along the lines of a dry white Graves. 13.5% alc. Drink now -2018.

"The Valencia wine is super!" - Mr T.M., 13th March 2015

Decanter Magazine: "An unusual but successful blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat and Verdil. The Sauvignon spent four months in oak, giving a creamy texture, while the Muscat adds floral and apricot flavours. Southeast Spain's Verdil brings a note of fresh lime juice. Very refreshing. Alc: 13.5%" 90+ points
