Clark Estate Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand 2015

13.95

Until 2008 the Clark family were growers, supplying an extremely well-known Marlborough estate (yes, that one!) with Sauvignon Blanc grapes from their farm in the Awatere Valley, but when their son returned from a stint at Dr Loosen, evidently inspired by the prospect of making wine from home-grown grapes, the family decided to stop sending someone else the fruit of their labours and they began bottling under their own name.

This is a particularly thirst-quenching and revitalising Sauvignon Blanc, vibrantly alive with notes of passion fruit, grapefruit, gooseberry and elderflower., in other words, classic Marlborough that makes you think of misty mountains, foggy valleys or even cloudy bays. 13% alc. Drink now-2019
