This fun little quaffer stood out in a line-up of organic wines for the sheer enthusiasm of its fruit. It's like the girl in class who always had her hand up, not trying to show off, just unable to keep her eagerness in check. It's aromas are light and dainty, slightly floral, but not over the top, and the palate tightens up nicely with citrus and quince and it finishes dry, clean and lively. A great aperitif. If you are lucky enough to have been born after 1980, then an 'aperitif' is what your forebearers drank before dinner while standing around in badly-furnished rooms waiting for the Cold War to end. 13.5% alc. Drink now-2019.

Press review:

Decanter: "Here's a surprise! It starts with glorious grapey charm, but then finishes brilliantly dry, with saline length - like drinking it after a dip in the sea. It's an organic blend of Xarel-lo, Moscatel and Sauvignon Blanc from a producer of fine, traditional-method fizz. 13.5% alc. Drink now-2019." 90 points
