Pinot Blanc is a great choice when you want a tender wine with a soft underbelly, a wine without searing acidity or teeth-shattering minerality. Its heartland is in Alsace, but those wines can often have too much texture to be refreshing and we find this beauty from Oregon has more clarity. Gentle orchard fruits, particularly clementine and nectarine, dusted with pear blossom and honeysuckle. 13% alc. Drink now-2021.

Press reviews:

Jancis Robinson: “Lovely stone fruit and blossom flavour, plus some tangerine too. Full and gloopy on the palate, with seemingly low acidity and a chalky character on the finish. Very textural – a versatile choice for sommeliers, I expect, and with much more flavour than most Pinot Blancs. (RH). 13% alc. Drink now-2020.” 17 points

Wine Enthusiast: “A bright yellow gold in hue, this aromatically intriguing wine is loaded with wild pollens that give both scent and flavour a lovely dusty character. Tree fruits, clean straw and even a whiff of bread dough combine in a lingering finish, with buoyant minerally acids.” 92 points
