Pour this wine at a dinner party and you won't just be licking your lips, you'll be licking everybody's lips. It's a ravishingly delicious oak-aged Chardonnay packed with lip-smacking flavours of white peach., salted caramel, lime marmalade and tangy pineapple. There's enough richness to appeal to the buttery Chardonnay fans, but there's a steely blade of acidity that spurs it along and keeps it lively. 14% alc. Drink now-2018.

The Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Chardonnay exudes gorgeous pineapple, green mango and white peach notes with underlying hints of honeyed toast, cashews and cedar. Medium to full-bodied, it is densely packed with tropical and stone fruit flavors complimented with honey-nut nuances, refreshing acid and a long, toasty finish." 92 points

Raymond Chan: "Bright, light golden-green hued straw-yellow colour. The bouquet is elegant and exudes finesse with seamlessly interwoven aromas of white stone fruits, gun flint reduction and toasted nuts, all in balance and proportion. Full-bodied, concentrated and intense flavours of white stone fruits and citrus fruit are the feature on palate, with complexing elements of minerals, flint and toasty nuances. The flavours are beautifully integrated, forming a deep, smooth-flowing core with richness and near creamy textures, expressed with stylish restraint. The mouthfeel has vitality and acid tension to balance, and the wine carries the flavours to a very long and sustained finish with stone fruit and mineral notes. This is a smooth, seamless and refined Chardonnay with concentration and flinty complexity. " 19-/20 points
