A new discovery for us and a very exciting one too. It’s a field blend of Treixadura, Godello, Loureiro, Albariño and Torrontes and is as refreshing as a glass of lemon barley water after a strenuous set of tennis with Miss Joan Hunter Dunn. The flavours are delicate without being insipid, serving up notes of clementine, pear skin, mandarin, sweet lime and green apple. No particular grape dominates, nor does any particular flavour, it’s just a beautiful cocktail of complementary elements, influenced by the proximity to the wild Atlantic Ocean as it crashes into Galicia, giving the wine a marine breeze freshness. 12.5% alc.
