Hand-picked, some whole-bunch, spontaneous fermentation. It has the playful sweetness of  blackcurrant wine gums, the serious black-rock gleaming minerality of obsidian, the herbal spice balm of cough linctus, and the pop and pumping joy of blueberries and cassis. The tannins feel as if they’ve pitched up to the party already stoned, so soporific, hypnotic and soothing they are. I hate the weight of the bottle (cross-face emoji on its way to Mas d’Amile) but I love the wine. ” 17 points
