South African Pinot Noir has come a long way in a short period of time. While you digest that atrocious mixed metaphor, I'll plough on and attempt to describe this soft and supple Pinot Noir from the cool Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, It's pale and pretty, with ripe strawberry fruit, a dollop of cream and a dusting of vanilla and would show a clean pair of heels to many a South African Pinot Noir at this price. 13.5% alc.
