Young people are drinking less wine these days, thanks to economic factors, shifting attitudes towards alcohol, changes in the way young people socialise and a perception that wine is ‘old-fashioned’. As a cutting-edge wine merchant (ahem), we can’t change all of that, but we can try to make wine less crusty.

So, chat, let’s lock in. It’s time to show that wine is a vibe. I know some of you Gen Zs reading this will find it low-key salty for an old dude to be yapping on like this and be like “Ok, boomer, put the fries in the bag”, but if you’re a noob to wine, then give this one a try, because it hits different. No cap.

If you have always thought that wine was dogwater, and everything you have tasted before gives you the ick, then let this cook, because ’Moment of Silence’ has main character energy. It’s a blend of Chenin Blanc, Grenache Blanc, Viognier, fermented in amphora and skibidi concrete eggs and aged in old French oak barrels. Its flavours are lit, giving apricots, apples and vanilla cream, which make you feel a kind of way. The name, ‘Moment of Silence’, manifests ideas of calm and quiet contemplation, like when you put your phone down for 10 seconds and you are left alone with your thoughts. No wait, then it would be called ‘Panic Attack’.
