Sourced from a steep slope on volcanic soils and partly aged in amphora, this is a very dry and austere Riesling, which feels like a tight bud, waiting to blossom. The Laberinto style is all about restraint and finesse and this Riesling barely gives away its identity, other than with a little exotic hint of nectarine and lime, but there’s so much tucked away that it’s a wine to enjoy throughout a meal (sushi would be ideal) to see how it shape-shifts and develops in the glass. 12.5% alc.
